DESCRIPTION:What does 'trans joy' look like to you? Seven transmasculine artists will showcase art they have created depicting the concept of "trans joy". This art showcase functions as part of Mikhail "Micah" Collins' Women and Gender Studies applied project for his Master's Degree through Arizona State University. This will be an interactive\, community event wherein trans and queer individuals\, as well as ASU students and staff\, can discuss with one another about art\, trans embodiment\, resistance\, and joy associated with trans identity. Light food and drink will be provided. The showcase will be open to the public and take place in Tempe\, in ASU's Novus Innovation Corridor building\, third floor\, room 345 on May 1st from 4-6pm. RSVPS are appreciated\, no admission fees required.
