This festive marketplace features LGBTQ+ artisans, makers, and small businesses offering unique, handcrafted goods perfect for holiday gifting. With music, food, and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, the Market is a vibrant space to connect with community and celebrate the season.

Our Evolution: From Festival of Trees to “More Than a Market”

This year, we’re combining two cherished community traditions — the Festival of Trees and the Queer Holiday Market.

Instead of hosting a separate Festival of Trees event, we’re bringing its festive spirit into the Market. You’ll still find the joyful atmosphere, mingling, food, drinks, and holiday décor everyone loves — now all in one lively space.

To capture the creativity and fun of Festival of Trees, we’re introducing Sponsored Tree Decoration Kits, which will be raffled off during the Market! These kits let sponsors and community members show off their holiday flair while raising funds for the Equality Chamber Foundation’s programs.

Take a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect in our Wellness Room, a cozy and affirming space designed to help you rest, reflect, and celebrate yourself this holiday season.

Inside the Wellness Room, you’ll find:
    •    Hot Chocolate & Tea Bar – Sip something warm while you unwind.
    •    Calm Corner – Settle into a quiet space for meditation, mindfulness, or rest.
    •    DIY Sensory Kit Station – Create your own sensory kit to support grounding and relaxation.
    •    DIY Ornament Station – Craft an ornament for our Leave One, Take One community tree.
    •    Local LGBTQ+ Wellness Booths – Connect with affirming local businesses and practitioners who support holistic well-being within our queer community.

Why Queer:
We know this word has been used negatively by those who wanted to hurt us. However, starting in the 80's, as a community we began to reclaim this word for ourselves. Today it represents inclusivity and power.

• It is inclusive of the entire LGBTQ+ community's diverse membership.
• It gives those of us who don't fit squarely into one category a safe place to exist.
• It provides the space to explore identity as we discover who we are.
• It breaks down binaries.
• It brings us together as one community.
