Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing marketing strategies. This includes overseeing the production of engaging, compelling written and visual content for marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, translating team objectives into creative and engaging content, website management, and enhancing brand awareness to increase clientele, donors, and volunteers. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and Community Engagement.
As the Marketing Manager, you will support the Prisma Community Care mission of providing affirming and inclusive services to promote well-being and advance health equity for diverse communities and all those seeking compassionate care - especially people of color, 2SLGBTQIA+ and Queer individuals, and those affected by HIV.
What your day will look like at Prisma Community Care:
- You will lead and mentor junior team members while fostering a productive team environment.
- You will facilitate staff meetings, set and monitor team and individual goals, and professional development opportunities.
- You will manage the budget for Marketing and Condom Distribution programs and ensure expenditures are within program guidelines.
- You will manage invoicing for Marketing and Condom Distribution programs.
- You will lead cross-functional teams to identify marketing needs and social media opportunities and implement campaigns around key programs and issues.
- You will plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
- You will use data and analytics tools to measure campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts.
- You will develop and implement SEO strategies that include tasks such as keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO improvements.
- You will oversee the creation, management, and posting of consistent content for all official social media platforms ensuring a timely response to comments and reporting any negative interactions immediately.
- You will ensure the website is professional, up to date, and functioning as intended. This includes overseeing content updates, organizing content delivery and marketing strategy, and identifying opportunities to improve usability, navigation, and design.
- You will ensure uniformity of brand tone and guidelines across all marketing and communication efforts.
- You will interact with both the public and client inquiries via social media and our website, respond to questions, and connect them to appropriate services.
- You will coordinate the distribution of monthly e-newsletters for marketing and development strategies.
- You will maintain professional knowledge and stay up to date with current industry trends.
- You will use a personal vehicle to occasionally attend events for video or photography requests.

Who we're looking for:
- You've earned your undergraduate degree in communication, marketing, business administration, or related field with 1 – 3 years of experience, OR an equivalent of 3 - 5 years of experience working in marketing, communication, social media marketing, or advertising.
- You have proven experience in communications and SEO.
- You have demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the design and execution of marketing and social media communications, campaigns, and strategies.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication for content creation and interaction with clients via social media platforms.
- You have experience proofreading and editing copies with a strong sense of what makes content compelling.
- You have experience working with digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
- You possess great interpersonal communication skills.
- You have strong campaign management skills.
- You have experience managing and maintaining a website using WordPress or similar content management systems.
- You have demonstrated cultural competency to professionally and respectfully serve the LGBTQIAS+ communities.

- You have marketing-related experience in healthcare or public health.
- You have proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- You have experience working in HIV/AIDS prevention.
- You have knowledge of smart and engaging storytelling via social media to empower 2SLGBTQIA+ persons.
- You have an aptitude & experience using graphic design tools (i.e., Adobe illustrator, photoshop, and Canva).
- You have experience working with project management platforms like Basecamp, and integrated marketing platforms like MailChimp and Hootsuite.
- If you are bilingual (English / Spanish).
Environmental Factors, Physical Requirements, and Compliance
- This exempt position may require working more than 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Work may also be conducted in outdoor festivals, bars, and community centers.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, stand; use hands, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to lift 25 pounds are required.
- This position may require the employee to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl.
- Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and access to a personal vehicle for work-related activities.
- Currently have, or be able to obtain within 90 days of employment, a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Currently have, or are able to obtain within 7 days of employment, a clear TB test
- Currently have, or are able to obtain within 7 days of employment, a current flu vaccination
- Currently have, or are able to initiate within 7 days of employment, a Hepatitis-B primary vaccination series
- Currently have, or are able to obtain within 14 days of employment, a CPR certification
