About Us

Pif. Design Studio is a boutique design firm that works for busy professionals to create the perfect home they deserve. After a few short meetings with us we get to work taking care of all the details, and all our clients have to do is move in and enjoy their space.

The bulk of our projects are remodels-- primarily kitchen and bath. If the home is old and historical, that's even better! We love performing remodels which leave some of the home's character in tact, tying together the interior and exterior for a design that will last decades.

While we mostly do remodels, that's not to say we don't love home furnishing jobs too (it's just happened that remodels keep on rolling in). We love creating a spaces for our clients which recharge them, and we have lots of design solutions to bring great design to almost any budget.

About the owner:

Alex Pevtsova is the founder and principal designer of Pif. Design Studio. Her path to design was not linear. From a young age, she was captivated by art and style, frequently rearranging furniture and working on custom upholstery.

Alongside her creative pursuits, Alex discovered pole vaulting, which became a two-decade-long passion that taught her the value of hard work and resilience. She was lucky enough to compete and train with the nation's best, and even internationally.

After retiring from pole vaulting, she came to the realization that interior design was her true calling. With encouragement from friends and family, she pursued it professionally, launched her own studio, and has been thriving in the field ever since.
