Our mission is PRIDE: Promoting Respect, Inclusiveness, Diversity and Equality - all while having a good time. The LGBT Devils' Pride Chapter provides another dimension to the ASUAA - one that helps to make LGBT alumni comfortable with being part of the ASUAA and to enjoy all the benefits it offers.

WE SHOW OUR PRIDE INSIDE by promoting respect toward one another, by coordinating meetings, activities and events that are inclusive, not only of our members but of anyone interested in participating with us; by working to attract and retain members and event participants from a diverse array of backgrounds, ethnicities, communities, education and experience (so we can learn and grow from our encounters with one another); and to allow each of our members an equal opportunity to be involved in all aspects of our chapter's administration, leadership,, programs AND FUN!

WE WORK TOWARD PRIDE OUTSIDE by being known in our geographic, vocational, and social communities (including ASUAA). By being known, we promote the possibility of being respected for who we actually are as people, rather than being prejudged based on preconceived notions. We very much appreciate how welcoming and inclusive ASUAA has been toward our chapter and its members, and by our being included in ASUAA, ASU's LGBT students know they are welcome and can be included in ASUAA and in our chapter. Parts of our aim are to promote diversity and combat prejudice, and to work toward people having equal opportunities in our communities and in society.

Helping LGBT alumni feel comfortable being affiliated with the ASU Alumni Association and will promote membership in the Association.
Allowing prospective and current ASU students to feel they are welcome at ASU regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identification.
Providing a platform from which we can raise awareness of LGBT issues on campus and raising funds to provide scholarships and financial aid to LGBT students.
Facilitating social and business networking among LGBT alumni and with Association members.
Providing LGBT students resources for advice and networking.
Helping to coordinate group participation in activities that benefit the community and provide positive exposure for ASU, the Alumni Association and Devils’ Pride.
